Very Good
Wonderful atmosphere and authentic historic style. Wonderful lead lighting and wooden floors. Great comradery with other guests and friendly staff.
Lack of WiFi could actually be a positive for more in person conversation.

A historical gem!
Historical building and its location. Nostalgic front bar and artefacts of a forgotten time on display.
It was a grand hotel in its day but unfortunately time has passed by with regard to the accommodation that is described, as compared with other establishments we have stayed at. We had an expectation of paying extra to secure a 33sqm superior room, however the room just fitted a double bed, had a serviceable bathroom and I think that this measurement assumes the balcony. We stayed during a “hot” spell, which the ceiling fan and aircon found it difficult to cope. The staff were friendly but this old girl needs a lot of TLC to bring it back to its former glory as portrayed in the numerous photos and artefacts displayed throughout.

Good
Staff were friendly. Nice room Food was good chef was friendly .
Aircon not in a good position took a long time to cool the room. No wifi Paying extra for a dog . I get that but maybe charge the room for extra if your dog does leave a present not charge everyone because the last dog did.
